LCP over 4 seconds
The typical WP site paints its main content in 2.5 to 4.5s on mobile. Google penalizes anything above 2.5s. Your potential customer leaves before reading the H1.
Operational lock-in
The page builder (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery) ties the site to whoever built it. Switching agencies means rebuilding. Astro/Next.js + Sanity gives you real ownership: code in Git, exportable CMS.

What we get asked most
Why don't you use WordPress?
WordPress was a great CMS 10 years ago. Today it loads slowly, depends on 20+ plugins, demands constant security patching and ties the client to its page builder. Astro and Next.js generate static or hybrid sites that load in under 1 second, with no plugins and a modern CMS (Sanity/Payload) your non-technical team can edit without touching code.
What if I prefer WordPress because I already know it?
We train you on Sanity in 2 hours. It is simpler than WordPress and doesn't break with every update. If after the training you still want WordPress, we will recommend another agency. It is not the stack we stand behind.
How long does a website take?
Landing 5 days, Astro marketing site 7 days, Next.js corporate site 14 days, e-commerce 21 days, mobile app 8 to 12 weeks. Timelines count from brief sign-off. If we run late for a reason attributable to MD, we discount 10% of the setup for every week of delay.
Will the site be mine?
Yes. Code on GitHub under your name, domain in your Vercel or Cloudflare account, Sanity CMS in your account. If you want to switch agencies on day 31, everything is already under your name. Zero technical or operational lock-in.
What happens after the 30 days of support?
Optional monthly maintenance (monthly audit + up to 3h of adjustments), quoted at discovery. Or you handle it in-house: the site is built so a non-technical team can maintain it from the Sanity CMS without calling us.
Can you migrate any site from WordPress?
Yes, as long as the content is accessible (database, export or API). Typical delivery is 10 days. We preserve URLs and SEO with 301 redirects, migrate content to Sanity and replace critical plugins with native code. If the site has extreme customizations, the quote adjusts after discovery.
What if I need e-commerce with 500+ SKUs?
We move to Next.js + Payload CMS + PostgreSQL + Stripe. Custom quote after discovery. Full backend control, custom admin panel, no SaaS dependency. See the full list on the individual services page.
Do you build WordPress sites if the client insists?
No. It is a public, non-negotiable position of the brand. If you need WordPress, we will recommend colleagues who do it well. It is not the stack we stand behind.
