A website connecting the brand story with customer enquiries
Guiancafé Quindío needed a space of its own to present its coffee brand, explain its offering and guide people interested in its products. MD designed and developed a website connecting that story with practical contact information and retail locations.
The 2025 project combined information architecture, interface design and WordPress development. The video walkthrough and mockups preserved on this page show how the brand’s visual identity was applied across desktop and mobile.
The challenge: turn a brand story into a clear journey
A coffee’s origin can spark interest; the website should help that interest move forward. We organised the experience around three needs: understand the people behind the brand, discover its coffee and find a way to get in touch or buy locally.
The navigation brought together Home, About Us, Our Coffee, Retail Locations, Blog and Contact. Each section had a role in the journey, connecting visitors with the brand’s content and commercial channels.
Visual design rooted in the product and its context
Photography of harvesting and the product established the visual setting. Dark backgrounds, gold accents and distinctive typography connected the coffee presentation with the information sections.
The mockups show two specific decisions: a harvesting image introduces the brand story, and retail locations receive a prominent information block. Mobile views show the product presentation and the relationship between the website and social content.
Website structure and features
- Brand and product information: sections presenting Guiancafé, its story and its coffee with a defined reading hierarchy.
- Blog: an editorial space for topics related to the brand and its product, connected to the main navigation.
- Newsletter sign-up: a subscription module giving interested visitors a way to stay connected by email.
- Commercial contact: a contact form and WhatsApp access to carry product interest into a conversation with the brand.
- Retail locations: distribution information helping visitors find where to buy the coffee.
- Instagram connection: a feed integrated into About Us, linking the brand presentation with social content.
From content to the next commercial step
The approach connected discovery content with practical actions. Visitors could learn about the product, find a retail location or start a WhatsApp enquiry. The blog and newsletter sign-up provided additional spaces for communicating the Guiancafé story and sharing updates.
Navigation, headings and topic organisation formed the foundation of the SEO work. The commercial focus was to make the offering clear and contact straightforward. This archive presents the project’s design decisions and deliverables.
A website design and development archive
The material on this page documents the work completed in 2025. The video preserves a walkthrough of the website; the gallery offers two compositions with desktop and mobile views that can be enlarged.
The Guiancafé content strategy project has its own portfolio case. This page focuses on the website as a space for brand presentation, information and contact.
